Water Baptism
Thank you for expressing interest in water baptism.
Choosing to be baptized is a beautiful step of obedience and devotion to Christ—an opportunity to follow the example Jesus Himself set for us. At Elevated Life Church, we would be honored to walk with you in this meaningful moment of faith and thrilled to celebrate your public declaration of commitment to Him.

WHAT IS WATER BAPTISM?
Water baptism has a rich biblical foundation and serves as an outward expression of an inward transformation. Just as Jesus was baptized to “fulfill all righteousness” (Matthew 3:13–17), we follow His example by declaring our faith and commitment to Him. Baptism symbolizes your union with Christ in His death, burial, and resurrection (Romans 6:3–4) and stands as a public testimony of God’s saving grace at work in your life.
WHAT ARE THE REQUIREMENTS?
At Elevated Life Church, the only requirement for water baptism is that you have invited Jesus Christ to be your Lord and Savior—the born‑again experience described in John 3:3–7 and further explained in 2 Corinthians 5:17. We also encourage everyone who is baptized to attend a follow‑up class with one of our pastors to help you understand the full meaning and significance of baptism in the life of a believer.
WHAT DO I NEED TO BRING?
On the day of your baptism, we invite you to bring family, friends, and loved ones to witness your public declaration of faith and celebrate with you this important milestone in your discipleship journey. Please come prepared with dark clothing suitable for the baptismal tank, along with a dry change of clothes for afterward. The church will provide a black t-shirt for you to wear during your baptism.
